Swiss Castles Day

Swiss Castles Day is the most important event organized by the Swiss Castles Association and its member castles. On the first Sunday in October in three language regions of Switzerland, it offers a rich and varied programme for a wide audience, especially for families. Each year, a special theme is chosen.

Save the date

The next Castle Day will take place on Sunday, 5 October 2025. The 10th Swiss Castles Day is dedicated to “Craftsmanship”. Exciting and varied programmes are being prepared across 28 castles. Embark on a journey through time from the Middle Ages to the 21st century and meet a variety of professionals. Try your hand at creating glass art, porcelain, felt, leather, braided hairstyles or your own coat of arms. All programmes offered by the 28 participating castles are listed here. Three members are unable to participate this year: Château d'A Pro, Château de Grandson and Stockalper Castle.

Swiss Castles Day is supported by Brasserie Locher.
