The exhibition
Using the building and its surroundings as a starting point, the castle exhibitions focus on the castle's historical past and the economic history of the Oberaargau region. Photos, videos, multimedia elements, and specially chosen objects shed light on fundamental connections and recount exemplary moments from history, always focusing on the people who lived through the particular period.
The Children's Castle
Under the large hipped roof, an exciting paradise full of adventure awaits younger visitors. An imaginative trail, interesting games, stories to listen to, and a puzzle tour turn history into an adventure. Hidden places invite children to climb and offer plenty of space to move around, let off steam, and go exploring. Doing crafts with their hands, discovering with their eyes, listening with their ears, or experiencing with their whole bodies, the children's castle appeals to all the senses and encourages creativity, curiosity, and a desire to learn in a playful way.
