The Swiss Castles look forward to your visit.

THE FIRST SWISS CASTLE WHISKY

The Castle Whisky is the result of a collaboration between the Association of Swiss Castles and Säntis Malt from the Locher Brewery. It matures in Appenzell and is then refined in the castle cellar at Schloss Wildegg in a wine barrel (Cabernet/Merlot) from the castle vineyard winemaker Brunner Manufaktur. The six-year-old whisky with 51.1 % vol. can be purchased in the Museum Aargau shop: Museum Aargau - Museums-Shop - Schloss-Whisky 20 cl.

Other castle whiskies with different regional touches will follow in other Swiss castles.

Swiss Castles Monopoly

MONOPOLY, the world-famous game of land and real estate, takes you through various Swiss castles in this edition. Very popular at the moment, the Swiss Castles Monopoly. A must for every castle fan and an ideal gift.

Available at the museums shops of our members.

Discover nine Swiss Castles

Nine of the Swiss Castles are now just a mouse click away. The virtual tour on the internet is free of charge and offers a chance to compare castles. The 360° Swiss Heritage project by the Society for Swiss Art History invites you to be enchanted by the beauty of Switzerland's cultural assets.

A real excursion - with birdsong - from the comfort of your own home: The Society for Swiss Art History invites you to discover nine Swiss Castles on your own 360° tours and compare them with each other. Under the web address www.360-swiss-heritage.ch, the castles of Burgdorf, Hallwyl, Wildegg and Romont as well as the Stockalper Castle in Brig can now be visited virtually free of charge and as often as desired, and can be explored both inside and out. The castles of Spiez, Waldegg, Werdenberg and Zug Castle have been included for some time. The individual visit in a 360° panorama offers the viewer a unique, immersive experience that is completely new in the world of cultural heritage. In 2019, GSK had developed an app called 360° Swiss Heritage. This app was adapted to virtual reality glasses and is in use in various castles as well as in several tourist offices in Switzerland. During the Swiss lockdown, GSK made the castle explorations, which were previously only possible with VR glasses, freely accessible to everyone on the internet. The 360° Swiss Heritage project is technically implemented by DNA Studio from Bulle. Other castles from all parts of the country are to follow.
