Swiss Castles Day

Swiss Castles Day is the most important event organized by the Swiss Castles Association and its member castles. On the first Sunday in October in three language regions of Switzerland, it offers a rich and varied programme for a wide audience, especially for families. Each year, a special theme is chosen.

On 5 October 2025, 28 castles hosted exciting and varied programmes on the theme of ‘craftsmanship’. All programmes offered by the participating castles are listed here.

The next Castle Day will take place on Sunday, 4 October 2026 and will be dedicated to the theme of ‘Travel’.
