The Swiss association of “Comthurey Alpinum” works to show, as authentically as possible, how life was lived in central Europe in the year of 1180 A.D., when Berthold of Zähringen had just built the dungeon of the Thun Castle.

On the occasion of the Swiss Castle Day, come along with us into the past: What was life like in mediaeval Thun? How did people cook, eat, negotiate, travel? “Comthurey Alpinum” will give you an overview of this distant past – and suddenly it will feel like you have experienced it yourself!
