Games from 100 years ago

A century ago, games were simply a way for young and old to pass the time. Horseshoe throwing and pétanque are activities that require skill. In the Swedish game known as kubb, two teams take it in turns to throw at targets, with victory going to the side with the surest aim. Those not fortunate enough to win can settle down for a board game or try their hand at paper fortune telling.
