“Higher, faster, stronger”!
Formerly the home of Godefroy de Blonay, the first Swiss member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in the early 20th century, Grandson Castle has come up with three different ways to celebrate Swiss Castle Day.
Higher: visitors can climb the castle’s tallest tower to listen to enthralling medieval tales.
Tales for children: 10.30 am – 2.30 pm – 5 pm
Tales for adults: 12 midday – 4 pm
Faster: a sharp mind and quick thinking are the key to understanding and enjoying medieval games. Continuous, from 10 am to 6 pm
Stronger: visitors can test their strength and dexterity in games of skill linked to medieval martial arts. Continuous, from 10 am to 6 pm
